The Hotel Relais Certosa is a 16th century villa, situated among 6 hectares of green surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, pines and oak trees. Villa Relais Certosa was once forestral land to the Monostery Certosa, one of the most important monsteries in Europe and setting for pilgrimages which hosted hundreds of the religious as well as exquisite works of art, where even today one can admire and visit this antique Monastery only steps away from the Villa itself and still occupied by the Cisterican monks. The Villa, main nucleus of the Relais Certosa include a total of 59 rooms and 6 suites all decorated in rustic Tuscan style, with many of them opening their doors directly to the garden and magnificent park surrounded by a view of the Tuscan hills.
