The Residence TERRE GIALLE is situated in the magnificent Tuscan countryside, on the lower slopes of Monte Amiata at an altitude of around 600m. A unusually beautiful historic building, dating from the late 1700s, the Residence has been recently refurbished but retains all its unique original architectural features. The complex is made up of 41 comfortable and well-furnished apartments with private indoor parking, completely surrounded by over 44,000 square metres of parkland. The Residence has plenty of space for relaxation, with a large lake, a dedicated children’s area, and facilities for sports and recreation including a swimming pool with hydro-massage area, a bowling green and multipurpose courts for tennis, volleyball and 5-a-side football. The apartments sleep from 2 to 8 people, arranged in either one or two rooms. Each apartment has cooking facilities, and is fully supplied with all necessary equipment including bedding and towels. Cleaning upon departure is included. Perfect for couples or for families, the Residence offers its guests the chance to escape from the stress of daily life and to relax into the calmer rhythm of these charming surroundings. The local area is filled with places of interest: as well as Monte Amiata and the district’s various natural parks, you can visit the towns of Montalcino, Saturnia, Pienza, Pitigliano, the Val d’Orcia and Montepulciano, the coastal resorts of Marina di Grosseto, Punta Ala and the island of Giglio, and of course the better-known destinations of Florence and Siena. In these and many other places you can absorb the history and culture of the region as you visit castles, medieval cities and great centres of the arts. You may also wish to explore the food and wine of the area: try some of our numerous traditional dishes and local ingredients along with DOC wines in the many local restaurants and trattorias, which will make your holiday in the heart of Tuscany an unforgettable experience. |
